FEEDBACK ::SLP-XVII:: February Fragfest 2010

Right: Venue was sweet and lucky, foods and prizes were good, I enjoyed the tourneys, people were cool.
Wrong: Perhaps try to spread tourney's out a little more since its an overnight so that they don't overlap as much (although I do understand the TF2 was long)
Didn't do: I was kinda looking for a reason to play L4D2 but didn't really get it..so i guess more servers for more of a variety of games.

The website and an email sent out mentioned a L4D2 tournament, but there wasnt even a LAN pick-up game of it (while we were there anyways). My team and I basically paid $15 each to eat pizza and use MSU's network to play l4d2 on the internet. Two of our guys drove from Indiana and Grand rapids to play in this event.

I appologize if the lan was not fulfilling for you and we certainly hope you did enjoy the time you did have and come back again, however in our defense on the tournament list you will notice the L4D tournament said

NOTE: This tournament may or may not make the final tournament list

And on the schedule there was a * for tennative next to L4D so you really should have not counted on it 100%

We knew that other more highly anticipated things (namely TF2 and UT) may go long so we planned on only having a quick throw together tourhament in L4D if time allowed and we attempted to advertise it as such.

Again we hope you still had a decent time and come back again.

True, I remember seeing the tentative part. Yeah, we did come at the chance that there would be any competition for L4D2, knowing there was a possibility of no tourny. We were OK with no prizes also, just wanted to compete in our mutually favorite game.

Yeah, I'll be back for more for sure, seems like a fun crowd. =P I just need to start playing other games. lol

Yeah, we really wanted to do it too. My group of friends (one of us was actually going to host the L4D2 tourney) were looking forward to it, but it was really unfortunate that we ran out of time.
