Great games last night. I'll be honest here...I played for a couple hours with ya'll last night and in that time I'd normally get a little bored but even after that 2 hours I wanted to keep on playing but everyone was leaving. Good to play with the SLP'ers!

The link above for player stats is still working.

You left first, wing.

I said to myself "Woohoo, I'm number 7!!!" and then I saw that I was almost the only one with a single digit score/min.

I had to leave. 'twas no fun getting my butt repeatedly handed to me over and over again. FFA's really only fun on small maps, not the one we were playing, and I like TDM waaay more.

And we only had 5 people. I hate tiny pop counts.

EDIT: Also, no HC. Somehow, shooting someone with a shotgun at close range 3 times should kill them, especially if they don't have Juggernaut. We should have an HC server, Wing.

HC just turns into a camping fest. That and I'm terrible at it.

Then get good. I'm tired of having absolutely no kills with Last Stand due to no Deagle.

I shouldn't have to unload 9 shots of m16 into a guy to kill him. Sure it makes headshots actually worth something and makes you actually aim, but it's just not realistic. Granted it's better gameplay, yes, but not having it just encourages n00b tube usage, which I hate worse than run-n-gunners.

because without steady aim, i can unload a full clip into a guy at close range and do *toilet matter* for damage; i have to look through the sights to have anything close to accuracy.

When will they come out with a game that will actually move your aim like a real gun, instead of keeping your gun stationary and having the bullets fly in all different trajectories?

Ohhhhh mannn, I HATE n00btubers. I hate them WAY more than marty or campers. N00btubers are the blight of CoD4 because everyone always knows where to fire at spawn points.

There have been games in the past that do that, complete with head bob and everything, & you have to hold your breath to shoot with any accuracy. Also, realize that ANY gun going full auto has NO accuracy. You only see it in the movies. It's not realistic to begin with, unless you have someone who doesn't know how to properly use a gun. Have you ever held an m16 on full auto before? After four shots, even from 20 feet away, you're already shooting 15 feet to your left. not even a bear can hold that thing straight on full auto. The SAW has a tripod for a reason. You only see somebody run'n gun with those if they're A) Stupid B) Rambo C) Chuck Norris D) Want to play around with an automatic weapon E) Don't care what they hit (see A)

In real life, you can't really run AND aim CORRECTLY. To aim, you have to hold your breath momentarily, no matter what you shoot. You can't do that very well while running.

Basically, to do it like real life in a game, it would be very frustrating, because in real life it takes years of practice AND training to get good at shooting quickly and effectively.

But to the CoD4 players, TF2 looks cartoony and CoD4 looks gritty and realistic, which makes you feel as if you're there. I guess it's all a matter of perspective. YOU believe that TF2 is fun, I don't. YOU think that TF2 is better than CoD4, I think the opposite. Just a difference of opinion and perspective.
